Featured Pet

Maggie Ricochet came to the animal shelter in a terrible mess.  His eyeball was hanging out of his eye socket and he couldn't walk on his hind leg.  The leg was twisted and mangled.  It was our guess that he had recently been hit by a car and managhered to surv ive the ipact.

We wisped him  off to the emergency room where they unfortunately had to remove his eye.  His leg needed the expertise of an orthopedic surgeon, so the next day, he has that operation.  We were very pleased to learn that Dr. Minter saved his leg!  The man is a miracle worker!

As you can imagine, Ricochet's expenses far exceed his adoption fee.  Even though Ricochet suffered a great deal, he has an awesome attitude and a sweet personality.  He is a real joy to be around.
